Participation by 58 exhibitors from 14 provinces, as well as countries including South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Cabo Verde, Brazil, Portugal and Spain. It strengthened the decentralisation of tourism and showcased Huíla Province as a national and regional tourist destination.

2025 – Connecting Angola to the World

BITUR Angola 2025 was held in Luanda, at the CCTA, on 6 and 7 October, under the theme “Connecting Angola to the World”. The event also featured a forum on the same theme, which was one of the main opportunities for strategic reflection on the future of tourism in Angola.

The main objectives of BITUR Angola 2025 were to strengthen Angola’s competitiveness and international profile as a tourism destination, promote strategic partnerships, and encourage cultural, economic, and commercial exchange. The event also helped strengthen collaborative networks with regional and international organisations, notably SADC, CPLP, and other multilateral partners.

The initiative also stood out for promoting knowledge, innovation, and sustainability in the tourism sector, creating opportunities for the exchange of experiences and good practices. At the same time, it helped drive investment, strengthen the sector, and promote the development and diversification of Angola’s tourism offering.
